Update from Moonspinner

It has been slightly over 6 weeks since the last update of September 16; and once again, there is not much to report. It appears that we have finally answered all of the questions coming from the groups included on the settlement decision, including the head adjuster. I received an email from Pat Garrett, our public adjuster, yesterday afternoon. He forwarded to me a very short email that he received from the head adjuster that simply stated that the parties were reviewing the claim and supporting information, and would answer soon. So that’s where we are today.

On a different subject, Katie Moran, the Rental Manager that we hired in February has left the Moonspinner to return to the airlines. After reviewing several resumes and applications, and interviewing the best applicants, Shad Smith has been hired as Rental Manager. Shad will start work on November 18.

Our next Committee meetings are on Friday, November 15; and our next Board of Directors meeting is on Saturday, November 16. I encourage all owners to attend the meetings in person or to join by phone.

And I certainly want to encourage all owners to contribute to the Moonspinner Employees Appreciation Fund (MSE Fund). This fund is the source of funds for the employees’ Christmas bonuses. Contributions should be sent to Debbie Wheeler’s attention, and need to be received by December 6.
